Carl Johnson has known music since he was an infant, and now his music is becoming his life. He strives for using music as a tool to bring people from far and wide together. He started his musical career in 4th grade playing the violin. Years later after different instructors and participation in the high school music program and local community orchestras, he has continued his study of violin at Pacific Lutheran University under the instruction of Dr. Svend Rønning.
At Pacific Lutheran University, he has played violin in the universities orchestra, PLUSO, multiple percussion instruments in the Concert band, Hand Bell/Chime Choir, and acted as music director and composer for different theater performances. His biggest works that he has done was during his freshman and sophomore years. Currently he is working with the Kent School District as a General Music (K-5), Beginning Band (5th), and Beginning Orchestra (5th) teacher. He has been able work with numerous students and inspire them to become the best musicians that they can be. He has been part of curriculum review teams,
